Meaghan Miller – State House 54 Nominee

I have a background in allied healthcare and it’s my work in the non-profit sector that spurred me to run for State Representative.

I live in Summit County with my husband Dylan and two sons. Someone’s left shoe is always missing and Fiona the dog sheds constantly. I know and understand the joys and hardships of having a younger family while juggling work. I’m surrounded by an incredible community which makes me one of the lucky ones. I received my bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Colorado Mesa University, and Master’s from University of Denver. I’ve been blessed with an incredible career and I’m excited to take my vast experience to the State Legislature.

I have over a decade of experience with healthcare policy and clinical care. I am currently the development manager at People’s Health Clinic, a 501(c)(3) serving the uninsured of Summit and Wasatch Counties, in Park City. Additionally, I am involved in civil liberties advocacy and part of multiple coalitions advocating for policies to improve social equity. Areas such as patient access to healthcare, social detriments of health, education and working families are especially important to me.

This is an exciting year and I am excited to be a part of it.
