Candidate for Party Vice-Chair
My name is Margarita Satini. I am the mother of 4 adult children and grandmother to 3 beautiful grandkids. I moved to Utah in 1980 from California and I’ve never looked back and I currently live in Cottonwood Heights.
I’ve had a successful 20+year career in I.T. I’ve had my own software consulting business and just recently left my I.T. profession at CHG Healthcare this last December to start up my own small business AND to further pursue my passion for community outreach, activism, and advocacy. I’ve never been happier.
I am currently chair of the Utah Pacific Islander Civic Engagement Coalition, the chair of the SL CODA Law Enforcement Subcommittee, Vice Chair of the Asian American & Pacific Islander Democratic caucus, a member of the Utah Pacific islander Health Coalition, member of NaHALE, member of the Women’s State Legislative Council, and a member of the Diversity Coalition.
I’ve had a tough life growing up but my life experiences have made me passionate, empathetic, tenacious, and tough. I will always fight for the voiceless, the marginalized, the vulnerable, for WE THE PEOPLE!
