Candidate for Party Chair
Rob Miller is a native Utahn, raised primarily in Holladay and Sandy, Utah.
Rob attended BYU, the U of U and Columbia College where he studied Business Administration and Public Relations.
Rob first became a volunteer at age seven canvassing for Wayne Owens, and has assisted many UDP candidates since by phone banking, placing signs, canvassing and by making financial donations.
In 2005, former Governor Calvin Rampton suggested that Rob should run for Party office which led to Rob serving on the Utah State Democratic Party Executive Committee from 2005 to 2013, elected twice as Vice Chair, once as Chair of Chairs and once as Treasurer.
Rob also served as Davis County Chair from 2009 to 2011, and was named UDP Candidate Recruitment Chair, twice, by former state chairs, Wayne Holland and Jim Dabakis.
In 2006, Rob created The Utah Amicus, a blog that was awarded credentials to the 2008 DNC Convention. Rob was also a columnist for the Davis Clipper from 2008 to 2012.
Rob has four children, Kendall, Anna, Sam and Robby.
Rob and Andrea are currently living in House District 40 and Senate District 8; right on the boundaries of Millcreek Township and Murray, Utah.
