A NEW Utah Democratic Party is here…

Thank you for your vote and confidence in us, the new State Party Executive Committee. Let us express our gratitude by showing you what to expect from us right now.

COMMITMENT – From better communication to better outreach – we have listened to you over the last few months and we are committed to work to deliver what you need.

OPPORTUNITY – The Republicans have provided us with a perfect opportunity. They continue to shrink their Party “tent” into a small “pup-tent” of limited ideas, and strict membership requirements. As Democrats, we must be the Party of the “big-tent” welcoming to all ideas and views, including those disenfranchised Republicans and Independents.

TEAMWORK – Over the next few months we will be calling on all Democrats to donate whatever they can, work on task-forces and other committees to help transform our Party. Begin to think about recruiting candidates in your area and working together as one TEAM, of mighty Democrats!

INNOVATION – To change our Party we must be innovative and bold. The status quo isn’t good enough anymore.

As a small first step a new Party website is being rolled out immediately which will be a user-friendly source of news, Party-info, and election information. It will be a great resource for us all.
