A moderate candidate who will 1. Value the Voter Over the last few years, the state legislature has ignored the will of the people by nerfing citizen passed ballot initiatives. Miles will respect the voters’ voice. 2. Balance Extremism Republicans control 80% of the seats in the state legislature, leading to an abuse of power without checks. Miles can help restore the balance. 3. Work with All Divisiveness breeds bad policy. Compromise is the telltale sign of good democracy. Miles will work the Utah Way, across the aisle, to focus on the real issues. 4. Care about People Compassion for the marginalized should be a hallmark of Utah life. Miles believes lifting the disadvantaged lifts the whole community.
